I have bought the Hawkeye indicators for NinjaTrader and the education that now automatically comes with it. It is the only approach/system I use now. BTW: I am NOT affiliated with them, just a user of their system.
Some further thoughts:
I bought it 18 months ago and had trouble with it, and stopped using it for 12 months, because the basic education that was provided at the time was not a good fit for my knowledge base, and not good overall. Some 4 months ago I returned to it with their new 12 month education support, which is much better. I can now see a real logic to the amount of risk I am taking on, and more importantly why, and how that fits in to (say) the next 100 trades and the past 100 trades. (This is just how I conceptualize it, not how they would put it).
This is not a cheap software, but once you own it, all updates are free and there is a 12 month free education period with weekly webinars in live markets. I consider it to be far superior and far far cheaper than what I have seen of the "Complete Currency Trader". Then again, if one is planning to trade with a robust system for the next 10- 15years, what is expensive or cheap?
I only use it for FX, but the software can be expanded for use on Futures/Options/Commodities ....all with training.
It is discretionary trading on short, or medium, or long timeframes, so Myfxbook is irrelevant, as my style would be totally different to anyone else's, using this set of indicators.
I would not trade the faster time frames, but some people like scalping and Hawkeye caters for all approaches. Scalping has 'killed' my account. I now use the 320/720 minute charts plus daily charts. That is I use Ninja for the platform and execute on MT4 (Axitrader). I don't lke the way Hawkeye works on MT4 - its just personal thing.(lke应该是拼错了，是like)
Mark Douglas (Trading in the Zone) thinks highly of Nigel Hawks the founder and I have found Nigel and Randy (the two CEO's) to be generous and humble super pro-traders. M Douglas was booked for one of their 2 day trading seminars last year and was instrumental many years ago in helping Nigel Hawkes to get over a massive trading block. (Nigel mentions this quite freely).
These indicators have VERY simple set of rules for entry/exit and strong clear rules to all all the in-between parameters/options of trade management. The rest is psychology (of course).
They emphasise simplicity and longevity and as a beginning trader myself (3 blown accounts) I am now experiencing being able to come back from drawdowns, with confidence not that every trade will be a winner, but why I am taking a trade, why a good trade was a looser and how to hold on for bigger profits and a clear rationale on when to take profits.
Again: I am ONLY a user, not an affiliate. In my opinion it is a good system, run by traders who are ethical and care about the people they sell the indicators to, in the sense that they want them to succeed long term. Is it for everyone? Maybe not, but this is a reputable company....worth checking out their free trading rooms and recordings to see if its a good fit.
